Job Summary :

The position of Inside Sales Rep, Medical Solutions Division will be required to establish and maintain 3M MSD customer relationships including driving sales growth through telephone sales, handling customer questions (inbound calls) and up selling and cross selling strategically aligned products. Utilizing detailed product knowledge to provide technical assistance to customers and assist them in identifying products to meet their needs. Meet monthly set goals through sales forecast, customer interactions, and data gathering.  Teaming with territory reps and regional sales managers to meet forecast as well as gain customer insight and uncover potential sales opportunities. Ongoing personal growth through training, trade shows, and other learning opportunities will help in gaining insight into future career.

This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military environments to a 3M career.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

·  Grow 3M business through telephone sales
·  Achieve forecast attainment
·  Attain set outbound call activity
·  Record all required data into data management systems
·  Manage identified call activities
·  Develop and maintain relationships with 3M customer base
·  Act as product and procedure advisor to medical personnel via telephone, mailings, seminars/shows, etc...
·  Continued personal growth through career planning and training

Basic Qualifications:

·  Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
·  Minimum one (1) year of combined experience in sales and/or customer service in a private, public, government or military environment

Preferred Qualifications:

·  Advanced degree in a medical or healthcare discipline
·  Previous sales or Inside Sales experience
·  Medical sales experience
·  Practical medical experience in a hospital or medical industry setting

Sales Territory : Inside Sales Territory

Travel: May include up to 5%
