Job Summary :

The person hired for the position of  Application Engineer   will work with OEMs and tiers for product spec in, application development and new product qualification work including battery pack thermal insulation, battery pack sealing, battery pack fire protection, bonding solution with structural adhesive, attachment tape and motor noise reduction, etc.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

·  Leads technical/customer engagement  and application development on Auto-Electrification
·  Implements qualification of new material to customer specification.
·  Determines customer wants, needs.
·  Support product development, manufacturing and quality.
·  Finds out new product development and new application opportunity.
·  Closely works with cross-functional teams /cross-division to execute successful programs

Basic Qualifications:

·  Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering.
·  Knowledge of automotive industry and process. Strong interest and motivation on New Energy Vehicle market
·  Minimum 3 years design experience in Automotive Electrification related Industry. 
·  English communication skills in speaking, writing, and presentation.
·  Communication skills with local/global teams.
·  Market relevance Mind set and always enjoy working with customers.
·  Learning behavior / Team collaboration spirit.

Preferred Qualifications:

·  Master’s degree in Mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering or applied science.
·  Design Experience in Power battery pack construction, Power battery pack thermal management, Motor, Motor control system of new energy vehicle will be preferred.
·  3 years working Experience in top Battery Pack or Motor Company related to the Automotive Electrification.
·  Strategic thinking.
