We are currently recruiting an Office Assistant/Recruitment Administrator for our friendly team. It is fanatastic opporunituty for graduate or junior who is looking for career progression.

Duties
- Answering the phone and dealing with queries, taking messages or directing them towards the right person
- Greeting visitors at the door and dealing with queries etc.
- Dealing with e-mail and postal job applications and forwarding to the relevant consultant
- Assisting candidates with their registration forms if necessary before their interview with a Consultant
- Putting together registration packs
- Assisting the Payroll Administrator and the Recruitment Consultants with various tasks
- Sending out payslips via email and invoices
- Updating the availability sheets for temporary workers using Microsoft Excel
- Data entry
- Posting jobs on job boards and the company website
- Writing and mail-merging letters
- General administrative duties including scanning, faxing, photocopying etc.
- May be opportunity for some creative work - designing posters, leaflets etc.
- Doing shopping for office supplies
- Keeping social media up to date - company Facebook / Twitter pages
- To be part of the 24 hrs 7 day a week on call team
Essential skills and qualities
- Polite and friendly
- Good telephone manner
- Computer and internet literate - ideally with experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Articulate with excellent written english
- Decent level of maths
- Ability to work under pressure
- Need to show initiative but work well as part of a team
- Must enjoy working with and speaking to people as it is a very busy office
Desirable skills and qualities
- Intermediate knowledge of computers
- Office or administration experience is a plus but not a necessity as you will be fully trained

Start date: Immediate
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:45 - 17.15 with up to an hours lunch break
Salary: £15,000
