19 London are an international recruitment agency, specialising in the recruitment of Personal and Executive Assistants, as well as a variety of other staff to clients around the world.
Our core business is recruiting for well known and high net worth individuals and corporations, so before you apply, you must be comfortable talking to people at a high level and people in the public eye. You must also be highly discreet, confident and articulate.
You will work on database administration, learn how to take references confidently and professionally, learn how to follow a potential lead through from stage one to completion - as well as keep track of potential and active leads, have a confident telephone manner, work on social media projects, ad hoc tasks and projects, and anything else you show talent for.
For us, "no" is not an answer, and you will appreciate challenges. We're a people business, so we expect you to be a people person.
We are a small start up and you will be working in a very small, but friendly (!) team. We have plans to open a New York office in late 2018 and expand into other areas in the future.
We won't expect you to be an expert in recruitment or sales, but we will expect you to be incredibly bright, switched on, energetic and willing to learn. You will have very good common sense, be proactive and have a good deal of initiative. You will want to learn new skills, and have the desire to roll up your sleeves and help a start up team as we grow.
You will need to have the right to be in the UK. The duration of the internship is flexible, so is the start date (we're looking for the right candidate).
Don't forget - a passion for people and a buzz for sales is a must.
