Thales Australia's Air Traffic Management (ATM) domain provides leading edge airspace control and security solutions for the commercial and Defence sectors. Technologies supplied by the ATM global centre of excellence, based in Melbourne, are currently deployed in Australia and across Asia and the Pacific region.

OneSKY is a game-changer for Australia's airspace. The project will unify Australian skies under a new, harmonised air traffic management system. This will enable a new level of safety and efficiency, while also reducing delays for the travelling public and providing opportunities to improve environmental outcomes. The role:
This is a rare opportunity to work within our OneSKY program team to successfully deliver project hardware integration and hardware deployment services for our systems. This will involve managing all subcontractors, schedule works, activities and testing relevant to the systems deployment and hardware integration project segments.

In addition to this the role will:

· Be responsible for project management including the schedule and cost management of the infrastructure cost account and management of risks and development of risk mitigation strategies
· Produce regular progress reporting around costs, activity progress, risks, issues and results of any testing
· Manage and have oversight of all subcontractor and supplier deliverables
· Be the primary point of contact for all hardware acceptance activities including configuration management of the system hardware reference
· Be ultimately responsible for the successful delivery of all system deployment and hardware integration focused contact variation proposals and hardware change management activities Your experience:

· Degree qualified in engineering with extensive previous experience in managing the physical delivery/installation of large scale complex mission critical systems is a must for the success of this role
· Any experience in the management of complex engineering projects delivered under the ASDEFCON framework and systems engineering process would be highly regarded together with ASNZ or MIL-STD installation practises and management
· Previous experience ideally in the verification and validation of hardware systems
· You have outstanding customer/stakeholder management skills

This is a complex project with lots of moving pieces and as such you need to be adaptable, have exceptional influencing skills and must be highly driven to succeed in this role!
