Job Role:
As a finance intern, you will report to Treasury Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for SAP in Ireland, and work closely with other members of various departments.

We will train you to:
- Participate in meetings with banks and other partners, where investment strategy and financial products are discussed;
- Be part of different projects sponsored by the Chief Financial Officer and VP Treasury for Ireland;
- Take part in different trainings, specially through the SAP online solution;
- Draft slides for various presentations given by the Chief Financial Officer and the Treasury Vice President, including board meetings, Quarterly Business and Financial Reviews conferences, project reports and internal/external events;
- Work with the help of the CFO, Treasury VP and Controller on consolidating numbers to draft statements and reports, based on information from the P&L, Balance Sheet and Trial Balance;
- Use different SAP software at a basic level such as ISP, BW Enterprise Analytics, Concur, Fiori, ARM, Ariba SRM;
- Periodical intercompany invoicing;
- As part of Global Treasury, you would participate in all global team meetings and trainings provided, including the monthly meeting, where all the topics and projects related to treasury in the all regions and business of SAP are presented;
- Elaboration of many different documents as requested by the direct managers to circulate information and get in touch with partners and stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate:

Motivated students who are currently on course for an Accountancy, Finance, Business or related degree with the following key competencies:
- Business, accounting, IT experience / working knowledge would be an advantage but not essential
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Especially Excel)
- Time Management
- Team player
- High energy level
- Effective communicator / good interpersonal skills
- Inquisitive and not afraid to ask questions

- Focused and organised
- Ability to work to deadlines and within budget
