Project Management Support Specialist – Talent Team

In this role you will drive effective project management across the Talent Centre of Excellence (CoE) portfolio of work and enable delivery of Primark’s ambitious Talent agenda. This role includes direct project management of set priority projects and management support across the Talent Acquisition & Talent and Development teams.

What You’ll Do:
In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:
·  Strategic Scope Definition: Collaborate with talent team leadership to define project scopes, benefits, objectives, and budget.
·  Effective Project Execution: Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to scope by driving efficient ways of working throughout the project lifecycle.
·  Robust Planning and Reporting: Develop and maintain detailed project plans and effective reporting mechanisms to support project objectives.
·  Risk Management and Continuous Improvement: Manage risks, track actions, and provide specialised Project Management support to enhance team capability and drive continuous improvement 1 .
·  Relationship Management: Foster positive relationships and effective collaboration within the Talent team and with relevant stakeholders.
·  Communication: Understand project deliverable sequencing to create robust plans and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
·  Stakeholder Mapping and RACIs: Assist Project Leads in identifying stakeholder maps and RACIs (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) for all projects.
·  Tailored Communication Channels: Establish tailored communication channels for different stakeholder groups to ensure effective engagement.
What You’ll Bring
Here at Primark, we want everyone to feel valued – so please bring your authentic self to work, of course with some other key experience and abilities for this role in particular:
·  Professional certification in project management (e.g., PRINCE II) is beneficial. This will allow you to demonstrate expertise and adherence to best practices.
·  Experience in a fast-paced organization or consultancy context. Exposure to diverse projects and clients enhances adaptability.
·  Demonstrated ability to organize tasks efficiently, with some prior Project Management experience. This involves structuring work, managing timelines, and coordinating resources effectively.
·  Comfortable working at pace and quickly adjusting priorities as needed. In dynamic project environments, the ability to pivot and adapt is crucial.
·  Ability to navigate uncertain situations confidently. Projects often involve unclear requirements or unexpected challenges.
·  Skilled at influencing stakeholders to meet deadlines. Clear communication ensures alignment and progress.
·  Analytical mindset across multiple projects and stakeholders. Consider the bigger picture and interdependencies.
·  Proficiency in creating compelling narratives using presentation tools. Visual communication is essential for conveying complex information.
