Assistant Merchandiser
Over at Primark House in Reading we are currently recruiting for an Assistant Merchandiser to join, the team providing support within the Merchandising function. Primarily the role will involve working with a couple of sections in one of our key departments with a particular focus on our regional requirements. Do you have at least 3 years’ experience working with high volumes from a retail background? If so, then this role will be perfect for you.

An Assistant Merchandiser in Primark has responsibility focusing on the following key areas:

Sales & Stock
You will be working closely with the Merchandiser in your department in the delivery of sales, stock turn and contribution budgets. Part of this will involve identifying current and future trading opportunities for Primark.

Analysis & Administration
For this we are looking for someone who is good at and enjoys problem solving while maintaining accuracy with paperwork. You will be responsible for investigating and resolving any data inaccuracies and supervise, check and analyse reports produced by the Trainee Merchandisers.

Range
You will be responsible for developing and managing all your range content. This involves checking, updating and maintaining of store and style grading and ensuring opportunities are maximised and problems de-risked.

People
Primark have pride in the way we work well as a team and for this role you will be responsible for working closely with your team and supporting them to achieve company standards. So having experience in supporting a team would be beneficial.

To be successful in this role we are looking for someone who has a love for fashion but also at the same time are very strong around numbers and very analytically minded.
