Role: Digital Communications Admin Assistant

Purpose of role: A key role within the Digital Communication team, responsible for assisting the digital content team. This position offers the chance to develop our daily coverage on Primark.com with reactive homepage updates, new feature layout ideas, and product uploads. Key responsibilities include working to tight deadlines and being an outstanding team player.

Reports to:  Digital Content Manager

Key Responsibilities

Primark.com Administration

·  Rename and upload products to Primark.com using our best practice guidelines and CMS.
·  Layout homepages and content pages working with the Digital Content Editor to deliver a fantastic customer experience.
·  Work closely with the digital team to ensure ‘one voice’ across all seasonal campaigns and daily reportage, help edit campaigns, upload images and develop the look and feel of the site.
·  Be able to offer new feature layout ideas and be reactive when content goes viral
·  Ongoing site quality control, ensuring all copy, images and content are accurate and of a high quality.
·  Work to strict daily deadlines
·  Support the fuller Creative team in relation to the overall site content management and supporting processes  
General Administration
·  Manage team office movements and updating the intranet movements system
·  Carry out general administration as required
·  Assist with pulling together analysis and data to be shared with stakeholders across the business.

·  Optimise morale through effective communication and promote a positive work environment
·  Develop own capability by using all available resources to learn new systems and procedures and achieve targets 
·  Build strong networks internally to support the success of the Primark digital team

  Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

·  Experienced in an administration role
·  Educated to GCSE standard with Maths and English essential
·  Intermediate IT skills to include Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
·  Accurate with good attention to detail
·  Good written and spoken communication skills
·  A flexible approach to work and be capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
·  Confident, pro-active organized and professional attitude
·  Experience or interest in Google Analytics and SEO best practice would be a significant benefit
·  An active interest and understanding in social media
