Hourly Rate: starting rate is $20.39, after 3 months $22.28, after 1 year $23.00

Major Responsibilities


•Movement of trailers in and out of dock doors, always focusing on safety and quality

•Fill out daily documents for shunt truck circle checks and trailer inspections

•Monitor truck condition and communicate with manager when repair(s) needed, also trouble shooting problems

•Maintain routine communication with Dock Coordinator regarding the placement of trailers in door or yard

•Maintain a clean and tidy workplace (truck and yard) - Housekeeping

•Utilize process improvement techniques, tools and procedures to improve results

•Follow safe operating procedures and maintain Nestle yard compliances at all times

•Driving forklift to move product

•Flexible to work alternate shifts when required (nights, weekends, and holidays)

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

•G license required; DZ license required
•Clean driving record, must provide driver abstract
•Shunting experience is an asset
•Must be a certified forklift driver
•Follow standard operating procedures at all times and eager to learn
•Solid communication and interpersonal skills with experience in a team based environment.
•High School Diploma or equivalent
•Able to work 12 hour shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
•Must be over the age of 18
•Exposed to high volume traffic
•Focus on safe work practices
