Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Restaurant & Bar Department for a Restaurant & Bar Supervisor to join our team! The role is a full time position of 40 hours over 5 days a week. The salary range is £8.

To successfully fill this role, you will ideally possess and demonstrate the following qualifications, behaviours, skills and values:
·  Previous experience working within restaurant and bar and basic food and beverage training
·  Ability to work under pressure
·  Strong problem-solving skills
·  Effective conflict management skills
·  Strong organizational skills
·  Ability to acquire and maintain relationships e.g., associates, customers, vendors
·  Strong communication skills
Education or Certification
·  Good level of English essential
·  High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
·  Hospitality Management Degree beneficial

Duties and responsibilities:
To oversee the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day operations in the Restaurant and Bars outlets. To assist the R&B Manager and deputize in their absence ensuring the Food & Beverage outlets are running at correct staffing levels, maintaining Company standards and meeting, if not exceeding, guest expectations.

·  Technical Acumen - Understanding and utilizing professional skills and knowledge in a specific functional area to conduct and manage everyday business operations and generate innovative solutions to approach function-specific work challenges
·  Restaurant, Room service & Bars - Knowledge of procedures for managing restaurant room set-up, presentation of bars & lounges, management of host/hostess station, maintenance of fine silver, setting tables, break down of room, management of coat check, management of staff/associates, creation of checklists, audits, LSOPs, and maintenance of a high quality dining environment (music, lighting, temperature), as well as opening and closing.
·  Basic Competencies - Fundamental competencies required for accomplishing basic work activities.
·  Basic Computer Skills - Using basic computer hardware and software (e.g., personal computers, word processing software, Internet browsers, etc.).
·  Mathematical Reasoning - The ability to add, subtract, multiply, or divide quickly, correctly, and in a way that allows one to solve work-related issues.
·  Oral Comprehension - The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
·  Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
·  Writing - Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
