The successful candidate for the above role will retain their current employer, i.e. if you are a Jaguar employee you will continue to be administered on the Jaguar grading structure with the associated terms and conditions. If you are a Land Rover employee you will continue to be administered on the Land Rover grading structure with the associated terms and conditions.

WHAT TO EXPECT

 

Joining our state-of-the-art facilities, you’ll provide the power behind our vehicles. Within Powertrain, you'll find the ideal balance between performance and sustainability, responding to the environmental issues that are shaping our industry.

 

Here, you’ll be part of the team that is will defining and delivering cutting edge, market-leading technologies and synergies. To do so, you'll interface with the technical specialists, subject matter experts and base engine teams, as well as a number of functions within Powertrain Research. Together, you’ll ensure that the correct technologies, systems and synergies are being delivered to meet the future company needs.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

You’ll have at least an engineering degree, and preferably a postgraduate degree. What’s more, you’ll bring engine system level knowledge (gasoline and diesel), and a working knowledge of all Powertrain systems.

In addition, you’ll possess good project management and planning skills and strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask.
