If so, the IBM Service Parts Operations organization in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, may have a position for you!

We are looking for Business Analysts with a strong technical background – to analyze requirements, design solutions, work closely with clients, and assist in programming duties for our organization. ·  Utilize systems and data to resolve business related issues to support business goals.
·  Determine operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, evaluating output requirements.
·  Improve systems by studying current practices and recommending modifications.
·  Monitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, and publishing progress reports as needed.
·  Design computer programs by analyzing requirements and writing specifications.
·  Perform programming duties, testing, and project deployment activities as needed.
·  Maintain professional and technical knowledge by establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, and participating in professional societies.
·  Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills.
Must have the ability to work in the US without current/future need for IBM sponsorship

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  A minimum of two years of industry experience
·  Highly analytical, passion for details, and capable of translating analytical insights into action.
·  Demonstrated experience in business systems analysis and technical design, specifically in an environment with UNIX/AIX, Java, C/C++, and relational databases (e.g., DB2).
·  Proven experience with problem determination
·  Ability to work in a team or cross-functional environment.
·  Strong organizational skills – with the ability to effectively prioritize, multi-task, address issues quickly and professionally, and meet deadlines.
·  Initiative, flexibility, and adaptability.
