IBL – Consumer Category & Shopper Marketing Associate (Auckland)

The Category & Shopper Associate role is a crucial member of the Category & Shopper Marketing team. This team is responsible for translating global and ANZ brand plans into NZ specific commercial strategies. This includes leading category management thinking and expertise with our retailers, and developing impactful shopper marketing campaigns and activations.

This role will principally be involved in the creation and execution of high quality commercially sound shopper marketing programs and championing leading edge implementation. They will also lead the compilation of category review toolkits for use by the field team to influence ranging and quality and share of shelf.

This role will include:
• Localise or create in store shopper activation strategies to achieve brand plan objectives, and that compliment above the line marketing campaigns.
• Adapt campaigns according to specific retailer needs as appropriate.
• Manage end to end flawless execution of campaigns, including creation, sourcing, and delivery of shopper activation programs and associated point of sale.
• Manage NZ shopper budget ensuring spend is maximised and allocated appropriately across categories and brands.

What we're looking for in a candidate:

• You must be in your penultimate / final year of a Business/ Economics/ Commerce/ Marketing degree with mathematics & statistics core/electives.
• Intermediate Microsoft Powerpoint & Excel skills
• An interest in the FMCG industry
