HVAC Apprentice - Hunterston B Power Station

Workplace Solutions are recruiting for a HVAC Apprentice to be based in Hunterston B power station, West Kilbride, Ayrshire, KA23 9QX. This is a permanent full time role working 37.5 hours per week (one day per week will be engaged in training). On offer is a competitive salary and company benefits package.

To work with an HVAC team on a Nuclear Power Station. To develop the skills of an HVAC technician, attending college courses to develop theoretical knowledge and working with technicians to learn and develop skills. The incumbent will be required to have a flexible approach to working within a highly regulated and safety conscious environment. This team undertakes maintenance and repair work on station air handling, air conditioning plant and air compressors.

·  An analytical approach with well developed fault finding skills.
·  Installation work on new and replacement air conditioning systems.

·  Minimum of 5 Standard Grades at ‘C' grade or above.
·  A willingness and dedication to learn.
·  A practical aptitude and mature approach. For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK. There is no re-location package with this job role.
