Description of the job

A vacancy for a (Junior) Cyber Security Product Support Engineer has arisen within Airbus CyberSecurity in Newport, South Wales.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

°Technical Sales:

·  Present and deliver technical support in conjunction with sales (this may be at customer sites)
·  Assist with demonstrations to customers and customer trials
·  Assist customers with CAPS application forms and key ordering
·  Feedback customer experiences and needs, shaping the products going forward
·  Maintain relationships with current and potential customers
·  Assist with technical input to the marketing team

°Cyber Security Product Support:

·  Respond to customer queries and issues
·  Investigate and reproduce product issues
·  Collate customer network topologies to assist development with testing
·  Deliver on site upgrades
·  Product improvement program: Meet with stakeholders to discuss customer requests and features that would benefit the cyber security product community
·  Input to CSI (continual service improvement)
·  Out of hours product support via telephone or travelling to customer site

Required skills

You have the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to a degree level (or equivalent) in IT, Engineering or a related discipline
·  Proven knowledge in Networking and IP
·  Strong problem solving skills
·  Ability to present and write reports to key stakeholders (both internal and external) at a professional level
·  Ability to communicate appropriately at both management and engineering level
·  Ability to work alone without supervision
·  Enthusiastic to learn
·  Fluent in English

The following requirements are desirable:

·  Awareness of IKEv2, PKI
·  Knowledge in Cyber Security
·  Knowledge in software languages (C#, C++, C, Python)

This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognised authorities.
