Adecco Durham are currently recruiting for experienced Production Operatives.

Our client, based in the Crook area, who are looking for temporary Production Operatives with previous experience working within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate would be able to continuously meet production targets and quality standards.

Job Description

1. Work to specific working instructions (e.g document codes)
2. Complete appropriate paperwork and documentation
3. Ensure daily house-keeping of workstations
4. Complete operational checks before each use of machines, as appropriate
5. Responsibility for ensuring the health and safety issues are reported
6. Offer ideas and suggestions to facilitate continuous improvements to processes and/or working practice

Person Specification

1. Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
2. Willing to undertake training as necessary
3. Manual dexterity
4. Ability to work to specifications and set standards
5. Ability to work on own initiative
6. Ability to undertake and sustain repetitive work
7. Ability to work to targets
8. Ability to work and understand specified drawings
9. Good communication skills
10. Aptitude for flexibility in various working disciplines
11. Ability to work in a heavy industrial environment

Shift pattern: 8am-4.30pm (Monday-Thursday) and 6am-12pm (Friday)
