Key tasks

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Room-Turndown Attendant / Housekeeping Supervisor to join the Housekeeping department at Sofitel Queenstown Hotel & Spa.

As a valued member of our Housekeeping Team you will pride yourself on providing exceptional service standards and attention to detail.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

•Clean, dust and vacuum our guest rooms to a five star standard.
•Assist Room Attendants in the daily checking of bedrooms and public areas to maintain standards.
•Assist the Executive Housekeeper to ensure the efficient and cost effective running of the Department.
•Assist in the training and development of new Ambassadors.
•Respond to guest requests with a sense of urgency.
•Provide turndown service.
•Maintain guest room security.

Essential and optional requirements

The successful candidate will have to possess:

•Minimum 12 months experience in a similar role.
•Understanding of the needs and expectations of luxury guests.
•High attention to detail and passion for exceeding guest expectations.
•High energy and positive can-do attitude.
•Ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
•Immaculate grooming and presentation.
•Sound knowledge of Opera, preferred
•Excellent time management, organizational skills and ability to work autonomously
•Ability to work varying shifts including weekends and public holidays.
