Studying Food Science searching for an industrial placement

Summary

I am currently studying food science at reading university. I am looking for a one year placement (2016/2017) to expand my knowledge of the food industry and support my current lecture content. I ideally want a placement based in product development however I am keen to development my knowledge in other areas of the business. I gained a first (77%) in my first year at university and hope to continue this success throughout my course. I am an ambitious Individual threat the drive to succeed. I am highly organised when carrying out tasks and take pride in getting things right.

09-2015 - 09-2015 Chemistry / Biology / AgronomyExperience in packaging of goods and checking and finalising orders for clients. Planning and communication with team members was key to efficient production of numbers and varieties needed for dispatch deadlines. I gained an insight into the overall running of the factory and its hygiene practices. Following this work experience I have been offered employment over the Christmas period.
