• Attending weekly meetings with fellow senior cadets where we carryout marching drill, uniform check, learn a variety of policing procedures, plan events with officers. • Assist in planning and attending voluntary events for the community such as stewarding at marathons, antitheft paint in vulnerable and problematic areas, test purchasing and passing out parades. • Planning and participating in team building events such Gravesend Annual Cadet Contest where cadets from other Boroughs meets and compete against each other to win awards and The Iron Team Competition which is an extremely physically demanding competition integrated with police orientated scenarios; testing camping skills, fitness levels, problem solving skills and teamwork skills.
