08-2009 - 04-2011 Sales Handling Cash transactions, specifically check amount in words and figures, verifying signature with signature card, approve withdrawals/encashment of Malawi Kwacha within the specified limits on regular savings and special savings, ensure that there is no alteration on the withdrawal slip
Explaining to customers in detail all the Bank’s products and services available to them to assist them in making a choice
Assisting customers in opening new accounts, such as completing and capturing the CIF, image capture and Cards registration; whilst ensuring all documents are submitted in proper form and are authorized before proceeding to open the account.
Processing salaries
Filing of documents CIF’s, transfer forms, vouchers etc.
Participating in assuring quality control in regards to audits and certifications (such proper handling of records and stamps, adherence to procedures, maintenance of up to date registers and records)
Acting as steward of the bank’s resources and be conscious and alert supervisors of any attempt of misuse of the bank’s assets by staff or clients.
Providing support to all assigned areas of branch operations where service or assistance is needed.
Processing account activities, determine balances, and resolve problems within given authority.
Handling and solving client queries and complaints in the branch. Refer to immediate Supervisor any issues requiring to be scaled up.
