Product Engineer Trainee

After losing some interests in my courses during the first semester of my 2nd year, and getting the passion and the hard work back during the second one, I still had to repeat half a year. Therefore, I chose to benefit from the 6 spare months I had to do another internship.
In the end, this bump in the road transformed into an opportunity to grow, both personally and professionally, and I enjoyed my experience at eBikeLabs. It was not easy, and I found myself challenged on a daily basis, but it teached me a great deal of things and consistently helped me to push boundaries further.
Mission :
eBikeLabs is a 1-year old startup creating connected services and products for electric bikes. As a product engineer, I am in charge of :
- Product design, using pen or CAD to bring ideas to life, to explain them to subcontractors, and to showcase soon-to-be-sold products ;
- Components sourcing, including polyurethane resins, electrical, & mechanical parts ;
- Packaging conception and quotation ;
- Discussing with several companies working with us in order to achieve our mutual goals.
Additionally, after finishing to improve the product's reliability and decreasing its manufacturing time and price, I started working on the trip consumption calculus algorithm.
