- Analyse the behavior of the passengers and construct an algorithm to identify the origin and
destination of a trip to understand the air travel demand of that particular route. This would aid airlines in ways such as closing unwanted routes or open new routes based on demand.
Achievements
- Analyze the importance of O&D and segment level flight to predict the future demand.
- An algorithm that detects passenger origin and destination based on the Airport popularity.
Assessments
- Ability to do coding using Python and use various different tools that aid in data analysis.
- Adapt to the new environment that works on Airline IT to provide better insight into the airline demand with the aid of my knowledge in the industry
Technical environment
- Virtual Machine has been set up to work with Python.
- Alteryx and MS Excel is used to analyze the passenger data
- Matlab is used to study the behavior of various main parameters relevant to O&D analysis
- Amadeus Marketing Insight (AMI)to provide better understanding on the flight market.
