My primary research thesis was on ‘The Effect of Visual Perspectives on Memory Through the Use of Virtual Reality’. I was able to apply psychological theory, combined with specialised software and hardware to create numerous virtual environments and bespoke avatars of participants. As the participants were recruited from a wide range of backgrounds, my understanding of research techniques and people skills were also strengthened. This has empowered me to pursue a career in research and development.
