Experiences

IT analyst Intern

07-2014 - 01-2016 IT development• Thesis topic “Virtual team mechanics, and Knowledge management systems” • Analytical: I was able to Identify knowledge and communication barriers in a virtual work environment by analyzing and mapping the current resources available for the engineers worldwide, and conducting face to face interviews with the employees • Resourceful: by Suggesting low cost solutions by reviewing multiple open source and commercial software suites, and matching it to the corporate’s needs

Software engineer

05-2010 - 03-2013 IT developmentTasks were to deploy, train, and provide support for a correspondence management system • Leadership: managed to deploy, launch and train in Taif University for 800+ users on correspondence management system with a team of 3 by assisting the PM and team lead with the planning and execution of the work • Energy: to co-Lead the support team for “go-live” phase for Ministry of health which handled 1000+ users across 3 buildings and various off-site offices • Strength: I was able to contain a failed “go-live” day for the above project by staying calm and directing the support team to aid employees manually until the team lead arrived on site based on my call. • Autonomy: planned the deployment, launch and training of users in the municipality of Qassim for ~ 80 users as a sole resource, managed to work alone in a harsh remote city with minimal resources • Responsible: I was trusted to handle the training for the female support team in a challenging environment in Taif, Saudi Arabia. Where social laws restrict interaction between male and female sectors of Taif university • Trusted to solve a major setback due to software failure for a project by troubleshooting compatibility of local software vs ours, I was called from a different city specifically to solve the issue • Helpful: I was always happy to answer questions and guiding the development team with their tasks by explaining each functionality of the product, and reviewing and approving new changes for each project branch.
