* Design and develop innovative packaging material for various new products as per Marketing Requirement. * Providing technical support on packaging and working closely with the supplier for new packaging design, in terms of artwork, mock up design and printing process. * Developing detailed packaging specifications to insure quality materials & value for money. * Developing packages which meet cost reduction targets (VO) and are sensitive to environmental needs, protects the product through the entire distribution channel & provides functionality to the end-users. * Identify and develop new vendors for packaging material supply. * Developing & analysing SAP based BOM, Dockets, QC clearance & Basic data for portal updating for finished product packaging. * Conducting package tests if needed to evaluate materials & design in compliance with product needs. * Maintaining Documentation for future references (Artworks, Shade cards, Specifications, Travel test reports, SOPs, Dockets) * Participating in suppliers quote process and conducting cost estimation. * Trouble shoot issues related to packaging Material in the plant. * Testing Packaging materials for lot clearance for NPD’s. * Auditing vendors on timely basis along with Quality & Procurement department. * Keeping track of market requirements for packaging & accordingly suggest improvements.
