Although I am looking to change career paths I have developed skills and experience and I am ready to take on new challenges. The healthcare industry has given me experience in communicating with customers and working alongside other professionals. Within my job role I supervise and support a team of care workers to ensure a high standard of care, dignity and respect is delivered to our service users. I administer medication for those who are unable to self medicate. I assist and work along side GP’s, practice nurse teams and other professionals ensuring good communication goes on between range of different people within the healthcare industry. I ensure care and support is provided, assist in personal care and daily activities and can recognise potentional situations which may need reporting in protecting our service users. I get to know different people on a daily basis.

This was a work experience during my two years at college. My duties included, stacking shelves, stock rotation, caring for the animals by feeding, grooming + cleaning accommodation, handling the animals, assisting in the dog grooming parlour, communicating with customers and cleaning duties.
