Material Information Consultant Internship
08-2015 - 08-2016 IT development Undertook a gap year work placement, where I was trained to take responsibilities of a software implementation and product support consultant. Main activities comprised of assisting the software implementation process, managing databases, creating database maintenance & data analysis tools, as well as providing ongoing support to customers from various industries (automotive, aerospace, defense, technology and healthcare).
Achievements:
• After a short period of 3 months, was trusted to work on £20,000 - £500,000 projects for a variety of customers, including Snecma, Bentley Motors Limited, Emerald Automotive LLC, Nissan Motor Manufacturing (UK) Ltd
• Participated in the collaborative research project (UK Datacomp) between Granta Design Ltd and other companies to develop a new product. Delivered results which would have billed approximately £70,000 in a standard project. Successfully undertook responsibilities beyond the requirements initially set for the internship position
