Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
· The systematic gathering, recording and analysis of data about issues relating to marketing products, systems and services to provide the business with relevant, accurate, validated and current information.
· Analysis of data to provide synthesis of key market characteristics & competitor insight, as well as highlighting implications & options for business strategy
· Construction & maintenance of advanced forecast models (primarily based on aircraft fleets and movements)
· Analysing capabilities, product offerings, price to win analysis and price-performance positioning, (including price-to-win support).
· Advise Communications on key marketing messages, branding and campaigns, based on an understanding of customer requirements, linked to an analysis of Thales strengths and weaknesses relative to the competition.
· Supporting the strategic business planning (SBP) process by providing input on market trends & drivers, market sizing and competitive intensity
