I have worked in the John Lewis Partnership at Waitrose for over 4 years now and am thoroughly enjoying my time there due to the new experiences and challenges I am always facing. My MSc Management course has helped my understanding of Human Resources and allowed me to carry in depth research into the Partnership Branch that I work at for my dissertation. I have a real interest and dedication to the Partnership and therefore I would like to develop my career within it.

10-2015 - NowBy working closely with the Personnel Manager, I have gained creditable knowledge of how the recruitment system works within the Waitrose branches of Group D. I have taken part in the interview process, allocating work experience, completing contracts and ensuring all relevant documents are sent off efficiently to ensure they are included on our system as soon as possible. Additionally, I have to produce an excel spread sheet analysing data for managers to be aware of any overdue training.

Operational Partner

10-2011 - NowMy management skills of organising and leadership have been recognised by members of management who have given me the opportunity to run my section when they are unavailable. The experience I have gained from working as a shop floor partner has also given me exceptional customer service skills whilst working in a busy team that is sometimes under pressure. I have also undertaken the administrative, audit and legal processes of the company.
