Joana Silva

Currently I am working as an Analyst Functional Consultant at Unit4. When I thought about my first job, I must admit that I had never thought about embracing one related with ERPs, but it has been a great challenge. The most exciting part of this job is that we need to engage with customers and understand their business in order to meet their needs. It also allows us to explore our creativity when there is the need to adapt a standard system to a client’s specific needs. I am currently a member of a team working for a customer in The Netherlands. I give support to end users when they have any issues with the system and implement bank upload files in several subsidiaries of the customer. Outside of the office, I am now pursuing a Post-Graduation course in Data Science and Business Analytics in order to improve my technical skills, both at work and for the future that is ahead of us. I love traveling and meeting locals and their day-to-day life through the places I visit. Listening to their stories is the most fascinating thing about traveling. During the rest of my spare time, I am passionate about outdoor activities like running or just a long walk at the beach and there is always time to have coffee with my friends.
