05-2008 - 01-2015 Design/UX/UII worked with a variety of products such truck chassis that were design for FORD Motor Company as F6/750 models and NAVISTAR heavy duty trucks and buses, mainly for USA and Canada market, providing concepts and modifications to the standar design according to specific customer requirements. In my position I was involved on all the structural /mechanical areas of a truck such body, chassis, brakes systems, suspension systems, power train, etc. Main activities: • Lead engineering projects. • Provide technical support and coaching to designers. • Analize design feasibility in new customer requirements. • Provide a full scope of the project and time lines. • Lead Design Reviews with cross functional areas. • Approvals of enginering releases. • Validate new designs with phisical test or thru virtual verification using Unigraphics software. • Implementation of engineering changes. • Provide Engineering support on pilot runs and test. • Approve and release the component 3D models and drawings applying GD&T. • Approve installation drawing sheets that will be used in the assembly line. • Approve modifications or new product structures components (BOM).
