11-2017 - 05-2018 HR / TrainingCoventry University has an amazing student led organisation which looks out for the students' best interest. As a school rep in this system, I represent the interests of six undergraduate courses which in total contain over one thousand people. As part of my job description, I chair student forum meetings in which the course reps present feedback, ideas and complaints, we do our best to resolve those issues and if something requires further attention, I bring the minutes to the BOS (Board of Study) meetings. At the BOS meetings, all of the course leaders gather and discuss a range of topics from hiring, budgeting, facilities and most importantly module essentials and curriculum. I also attend faculty boards at which the head of the faculty and other staff representatives attend and faculty wide matters are discussed.

10-2015 - 05-2018 AdministrationIn the position of student ambassador for Coventry University, my main responsibilities included; working on open days and interview days the institution would hold throughout the academic year. Welcoming potential students and their parents/guardians in the building, talking to them about the specific undergraduate courses, student life, and answer any other questions they might have. In the second year, I was invited to a mandatory training session which included topics such as; data protection act, conducting tours, communicating with students and etc. I enjoy working in this role a lot since I really like the university and my Media Production course, I find it exciting to talk about it and the different parts of university life to people who are interested in starting their higher education in Coventry.

10-2014 - 05-2018 Chemistry / Biology / AgronomyI took on this job as a part-time during my studies to support my living costs, as the restaurant I work in is opened 24/7, gave me a lot of flexibility with my working schedule which was excellent as I could change my working hours to fit my university needs. In the three years I have been with McDonald's, I have gained a lot of valuable experience and new skills. In the fast food industry teamwork is one of the most essential components alongside quality and speed. I was trained to work at all positions in the restaurant which include; Batch cooker which required me to cook fresh meet including beef and chicken, follow the quality of the product and make sure everything is up to a standard. Assembly, working on the assembly line required me to know the components of every product and prepare the food according to the quality guidelines and in the given timeframe. Till worker, required me to serve customers as fast as possible and serve the correct food order, it also improved my skills with working with money. Stocks person, my responsibility was to keep an eye on every single item in the restaurant and stock it on time so that the production would never stop. Overall working for this company has taught me a lot of valuable skills and made me a better and more efficient worker.

I quickly settled in to the work environment and became more confident in approaching possible customers and delivering "elevator" pitches. I enjoyed my time in this position which I unfortunetaly had to leave as I relocated to Coventry to start a bachelor's degree in Media.

I had a master key to all the rooms in the hotel, the maintenance room, the staff room and the garages for the customer's cars at the back. I was operating the cash register and I'd write a brief report of the earnings and bookings at the end of every shift and present it to my manager. Working for the hotel helped me improve my people skills and customer service.
