05-2015 - 05-2016 Chemistry / Biology / Agronomy• As I was a trusted and reliable member of my team, my supervisor bestowed upon me the responsibility to work in multiple departments simultaneously during peak times in order to satisfy the consumer’s efficiently. • Upon reflection of a customer’s body language I could adapt my behaviour and tone of voice to ensure a healthy customer relationship is established and their needs are satisfactorily attended to. • As Morrisons is a well renowned leading organisation with a high volume of customers, it was my responsibility to ensure the reputation of the business remains intact and does not tarnish in any way due to poor customer service but rather encourage repeat business. • Interacting with consumers was very important as long customer relationships was vital to ensure the success and growth of the company. • I also expanded my commercial skills by using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. • This role was undertaken alongside 3rd year university while I was required to adhere to strict deadlines of assignment submissions.

11-2013 - 04-2015 Chemistry / Biology / Agronomy• This required me to work closely with medical practitioners to ensure the correct diet was distributed to the patients with specific requirements. • I dealt with numerous patients of a variety of ages, I had to take multiple orders and communicate effectively with people from different backgrounds; which was challenging at times due to the language barrier. • This enabled me to adapt to difficult circumstances and work well under pressure. In addition to this I had to provide excellent customer care as I was dealing with food and patients concurrently, so this led to excellent personal hygiene. • It was essential to be responsible because I was dealing with vulnerable people so I had to speak to them in a welcoming manner to ensure I was meeting patient requirements and going the extra mile. • Being friendly was essential in order to build a rapport with the individuals to make them feel comfortable and behave in an empathetic manner. • The role gave me insight in to the work environment and helped me to develop and expand my practical experience in a workplace.
