Second Language Instructor

01-2017 - 06-2017 TeachingI worked as a second language instructor to a group of exchange students whose goal it was to learn some Irish while they spent a year in Ireland. I worked with Bord na Gaeilge UCD (The UCD Board of Irish) and taught people from all quarters of the world. It was a fantastic experience, from which I developed stronger skills in planning, organisation, communication, creativity and innovation, people's relations and collaboration. During the term, I took the initiative to organise a whistle class for my students to gain a better insight into the Irish culture, as well as language.

07-2014 - 07-2015 Project / Product managementAuditor of the Student Society required a strict set of skills which I maintained throughout the year: - Planning and organisation of the Societys events; event calender planned a year in advance. - Marketing and adertising; I had studied business in school and I used my experience to create an appealing, interactive image for the society. I contacted French agencies and organisation to sponsor us with cool gadgets for our stall. I created posters for our various events and we attracted more than double the membership of the year before. - Concise book-keeping, accounts control and money-handling, necessary for the Society grants. - Effective communication with outside organisations; I managed to secure 50 free croissants each week from the local Centra, in return for some light advertising. - Delegation; it wasnt without the help of the Societys strong committee that the Societys numbers doubled from the previous year.
