Summary

Passionate for journalism and storytelling, I have interviewed fishermen victims of central Vietnam's catastrophic environmental disaster in 2016 as well as personal stories of Rohingya refugees living in Malaysia. My current work focuses on stories relating to displacement and socio-political developments in Southeast Asia. My skill set lies in video and photo production, with experience in post-production as well as a keen news sense of current affairs in Southeast Asia.

In June 2016, I also independent chased the story of catastrophic environmental disaster caused by multi-billion conglomerate, Formosa Ha Tinh Steel in central Vietnam and tried to pitch to news wire agencies in Hanoi. Living in Vietnam has pique my interest in understanding Singapore's relations with her Southeast Asian neighbours, as well as the political tensions between Vietnam and China.
