09-2013 - NowEnergy / Materials / Mechanics - Modelling jet noise radiation through an acoustic analogy approach within the AeroTraNet2 project framework.
- Developing and testing of a new Python noise-extraction tool, able to estimate the acoustic radiation from unsteady turbulent flows, in collaboration with Cerfacs, Toulouse.
- Investigation of the near and far-field noise radiation from single/dual stream jets, including a coaxial nozzle configuration proposed by partner Airbus SAS, France.
- Application of the Python tool to reduced order predictions in collaboration with IMFT Toulouse.
- Scientific dissemination in international conferences (AIAA/CEAS 2016, AIAA/CEAS 2014, ICSV23, ICSV22)
- International training events at Von Karman Institute as well as at other partner institutions.
