Project’s Description: I worked on development project of the ONESOURCE Global Trade Management System project as a Technical and Functional Data Specialist. This software supports confidence and adds visibility across the entire global trade management process and offers a comprehensive set of solutions for operating, controlling and managing the following foreign trade modules: Import, Export, Special programs, Products, Vessels, Routes, Locations, Partners etc. As a Technical and Functional Data Specialist I was responsible to link the business analysis and development teams. The system has the CORE functionalities and also Localisation features for each country and its laws, as well as customization for each company that acquired the software.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely to the business analysis team and product owner to establish software requirements and impact analysis.
• Review software specifications with development and quality teams to predict and prevent software issues.
• Design, deploy and maintenance of relational data models (conceptual, logical and physical) including complex business requirements considering atomicity, consistency, isolation, durability to guarantee process reliability of all database transactions.
• Provide development, maintenance (data scripts), deploy (subversion control), scripts refactoring and quality tests (data input and output) of the Master Data and Enterprise Master Data technical solutions to support business strategy.
• Data and structure migration including business rules of legacy software.
• Data architecture documentation based on company standards and best practices of World-Class Databases.
• Query performance analysis.
