Summary
I'm a second-year PhD Student working on optimal day-ahead scheduling of electrical distribution networks under a high penetration of Distributed Renewable Energy Sources (DRES). I recently finished working on a European project called evolvDSO, a project where tools in order to facilitate the changing of electrical distribution system operator roles, helping them effectively manage their networks with a high penetration of distributed renewable energy sources were developed. In the project, I was responsible for the development of an operational planning tool done through collaboration between Grenoble INP, RSE SpA (Italy), and VITO NV (Belgium). I currently also work in a CIRED Working Group on Technical and Non-Technical Losses. An Electrical and Electronics Engineer with a Master's Degree in Smart Grids, I have also worked on the design of 765kV Air-Insulated Substations and 400 kV Gas-Insulated Substations. My current interests, apart from what I am working on include Energy Markets, Economics of Electrical Energy, and Superconducting Fault Current Limiters.
