Born in El Salvador, grew up in France, and have been living in Rio de Janeiro for twenty years. I studied Management and International trade at ISIT and Paris-Sorbonne and have worked in an international environment since. Today, I work as Head of Admissions, Alumni and External Relations at the American School of Rio de Janeiro. I have a twenty five year successful track record in managing operations, sales or marketing departments. I am a professional with extensive experience in international environments, and in various economic conditions.

Admissions Director at American School of Rio de Janeiro

- MaintenantVentes•In charge for the organization of new parents´ orientation meetings each semester to welcome the new families enrolled (over 300 new students per year). •Provide all necessary information regarding the comprehensive educational programs offered at EARJ from Preschool to High School, their uniqueness, complete data on academic results, benchmarking to other schools, and visit of both campuses. •Serving as the school contact and develop strong ties for the Alumni Association, expanding membership and developing events to assure ongoing interest from the community. •Working with the school´s administration to communicate rationale for annual giving, cultivate potential donors and implement best practice strategies for the area of Admissions and External Relationships. Major Achievements •Created and put in place a commercial plan for Admissions at EARJ, containing short and long term sales and marketing actions, KPIs definition, customer satisfaction measurement surveys and follow up. •Consistently increased enrollment in both campuses despite Brazilian economic crisis and emergence of new players in the international education market. •Reviewed and rewrote all admissions processes and application materials, to improve the school´s recruitment programs, sales, marketing and public relations campaigns to reach annual enrollment goals. •Worked together with the ´New Comers Liaison Group´ in order to facilitate the transition of new families coming from foreign countries into the school community. •Presented and aligned sales strategies and marketing actions with the Board of Directors. •Liaised with the Press Office on all external campaigns and communications to local and international media.
