My duties included monitoring settlement to manage the operational risk and avert buy-ins where possible, and to escalate to where appropriate. Working closly with the Treasury Department to advise of any settlement events that could have an impact on the firms daily cash funding. Analysis and resoloution of unmatched and failed trades in order to facilitate settleemnt to close out settlement risk. During my time at Nomura I cobered markets in Asis, Americas and Europe.
