07-2016 - 07-2017 Strategy:
In one month developed and executed the store opening plan, as well as the grand opening which attracted media coverage and hundreds of visitors. Developed the website’s map and content.
Brand communication & marketing:
Scouted and built relationships with the up-and-coming brands at the Active Collective Trade Show in New York (Jan 2017), such as Noli and Body Language; worked in collaboration with smaller brands to organize special events, such as Maurice and Co; introduced promotions, such as “The Special’s week” when one brand would be “on special” for a week granting discount.
Social Media:
Ran advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram with monthly budget of 200 Euro; reached the target of 500 organic followers in the first 2 months on Facebook and Instagram; using MailChimp, took care of internal and external communications, created monthly newsletters for the website’s subscribers.
Sales:
Systematically searched for new brands to be represented at the store, negotiated pricing conditions: e.g., lowered WSP by 30% for Liquido Active; conducted trends research, analysed sales results and developed strategic sales plans, e.g. Black Friday with 30% off all clothing and 10% off all accessories achieving the target profit goal.
Project management:
Took care of all aspects of operations, such as logistics, product selection and placement, visual merchandise; trained sales staff; set up and mastered Lightspeed payment system.
After launching the store, additionally started managing an online store “The Great Yoga Wall EU” (yogawall.eu) in terms of operations, logistics, provider and customer communication, social media, merchandise and other; organized the first sold-out Yoga Wall Teacher Training.
