The Technician under immediate supervision, is responsible for multifunctional support of various internal and external departments. The Technician will be responsible for RMA repair, communication with customers and data management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair fielded products once they are received in-house

·
Document, maintain, upgrade or replace hardware and software systems

·
Support and maintain account and data information about repairs

·
Determine and recommend which products or services best fit the customers' needs

·
Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures in coordination with FAA regulations Part 145

·
Program operational logistics and reporting support

·
Other program related duties as required

Preferred Qualifications and/or Education:

·
Some post High School coursework in Electronics

·
0-6 years of experience working in a similar role

·
Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within an electronics lab or FAA environment

·
Understanding of basic electronics and soldering skills, IPC 610 a plus

·
Proficient with Microsoft Office Programs

·
Working knowledge of ERP system

·
Working experience in an administrative or customer service role

Soft Skills:

Strong written and verbal English communication skills

·
Must be proactive, meticulous, organized, and detail oriented

·
Ability to efficiently resolve problems

·
Ability to accomplish multiple tasks

·
Ability to work independently

Physical demands:

Regularly required to sit, stand, walk and use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and telephone to talk and hear

Frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl

Regularly required to handle or feel objects tools or controls

·
Frequently required to stand and work for prolonged periods

Must be able to twist and turn frequently while working

Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus

Will participate in the FAA/DOT Drug and Alcohol screening program
