Job description



General Responsibilities/Purposes:
Plans and executes the Quality Assurance activities to support Manufacturing, Engineering and General Business operations including technical oversight and the evaluation of products and processes. Coordinates, tracks and maintains plant wide initiatives associated with the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS). Plans, organizes, and implements internal audits, corrective actions, document control activities, and team oriented training throughout the organization. Interfaces directly with customers to support quality concerns. Drives a continuous improvement culture throughout the organization. Ensures that Safran internal reporting and documentation is completed on time and per the Safran standards.
Specific Duties/Accountabilities
Maintain QMS activities in the ISO Management Representative role. 25%
Leads, schedules, and supports the tracking of Customer Feedback and Corrective Actions. Drives Problem Solving culture through the organization. 20%
Acts in a key role for the planning, execution and sustainment of Internal Audits and associated follow up actions. 20%
Implements, improves and maintains Document Control in accordance with QMS. 15%
Performs functions necessary to support (and backup) Supplier Quality Engineer, QC Supervisor and QC Inspector as required. 10%
Additional responsibilities as assigned to support Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering and General Business functions. 10%

Communication requiring a high degree of diplomacy and the ability to deal with and influence persons in all types of positions both internal and external, within and across all departments.
V. Type of Supervision
Coordinates the execution of QMS teams and projects. Maintains the role of ISO Management Representative. Leads Inspection and problem solving teams as needed.
VI. Extent of Supervision
May lead teams on an as needed basis.
