The Engineered Materials location of the Cabin & Structures Support segment, located in Newport,WA is recruiting for a Production Planner . We have an immediate opening for a Production Planner for our manufacturing facility located in NEWPORT, WA. This division manufactures raw materials for use in high performance composite constructions, mainly for commercial aircraft interiors. The planner will provide materials scheduling, planning and tracking for complex products to support production. They will lead/coordinate materials and other resources for existing and new product programs. Must be highly proficient in production scheduling, capacity planning, level loading and identifying areas of concern. This position reports directly to the materials manager, but may also take direction fromthe productiondepartments.

Job Duties Include, but are not limited to:

· Will perform all planning, scheduling, and releasing/controlling production orders along with supporting new programs/process improvements for the department.
· Expedite urgent projects through the production process
· Prioritize/schedule production, coordinate material movement, resources and shortages.
· Adjust schedules for changes to BOM, resources and/or customer requirements.
· Create/maintain tracking systems for all programs, communicate plans/needs to team members, coordinate execution where needed.
· Work with other disciplines to disposition non-conforming materials.
· Maintain MRP data for assigned commodities, generate and release work orders, reschedule per order action reports.
· Perform problem resolution to ensure MRP integrity including BOM’s, routings, master schedules, inventories, and open orders.
· Act as primary interface between customer service and production; responsible for accurately maintaining materials, WIP and finished goods Inventory to meet requirements.
· Responsible for internal customer contact in all areas relating to availability of product and resources, sales order changes, work order entry and scheduling, committed delivery dates, customer related research, capacity planning and answering questions.
· Must be able to troubleshoot and analyze problems, multi-task with attention to detail, meet deadlines.
· Support all departments to provide excellent customer service and participate in meeting company goals and objectives with program management, manufacturing, quality and engineering teams.
· Successful candidate will have proven ability to achieve results in a fast paced, dynamic manufacturing environment, and demonstrated ability to work well with people inside the organization.

Minimum Requirements:

· 2-5 years of related Master Scheduling experience in manufacturing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Must have advanced skills in Excel – Must be able to generate pivot tables and analyze complex data.
· Candidate must have solid manufacturing experience and a demonstrated ability to perform at a high level managing multiple constraints and resources in order to optimize production schedule to achieve on-time delivery objectives.
· In depth knowledge and application of principles and theories of the materials profession.
· Demonstrated experience of MRP and PLM applications.
· Demonstrated strong computer, data analysis and report writing skills especially advanced MS Excel
· Excellent, professional verbal and written communication skills.
· Results driven with a can-do attitude; self starter, solutions oriented and demonstrated ability to work well in a team based environment.
· Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and maintain strong attention to detail.
· Must be a highly skilled communicator who can explain complex production situations effectively along with the ability to develop strong relationships will be an important element of success for this position.
· Some travel to other facilities may be required.
· Must be able to work extended hours as needed.

Preferred Requirements:

· APICS certification.
· Bachelor’s degree.
· Experience in Aerospace or other regulated industry with AS9100 certification.
· Experience in Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives.
