Job Summary: Paint and prime plastic, metal and composite aircraft parts and structures using organic coatings.

Summary of Duties:

· Mix and spray paint and primer per work order instructions, engineering prints and company specifications including documentation of the materials used in the process to maintain traceability
· Clean panels in preparation for painting and priming
· Maintain spray equipment; pressure pots, spray guns, spray booth, paint storage area
· Management of the collection, disposal, and storage of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes
· Adhere to company specifications, work instructions, engineering prints and work orders
· Document the materials used in the process to maintain traceability

Qualifications:

· Education: High School diploma/GED preferred.
· Experience: 1-2years experience with Fill & Fair or equivalent.
· Basic ability to use Microsoft software.
· Knowledge of safe handling and disposal of various regulated materials used in the process.
· Understanding of how to track of volatile organic compounds in geographical locations that have air quality regulations.

Physical Demands and Working Environment:

· Standing, sitting and walking throughout the workday
· Work will be done in a production shop environment which may include exposure to noise, dust, fumes and carbon fiber
· Possible skin and inhaled contact with various sealants, paints, adhesives or other chemicals
· Proper PPE is defined and required for specific work area
· Industry standard safety equipment is provided by the company and specific notice is posted in areas where safety equipment is required
