Job Title: HR Generalist

Job Summary:

The primary responsibility for this role is to support the recruiting processes for the facility in a high-volume, fast-pacedenvironment. Responsible for performing a variety of human resource support duties, such as effectively recording, maintaining, and reporting human resource information and for establishing and maintaining effective communication, coordination, and working relations with Company personnel. Establishes and maintains professional working relations with applicants, visitors , callers, and business professionals. Assists in informing new employees of human resource policies, programs, and insurance benefits as needed. Must maintain employee confidence and protect Safran operations by keeping personnel data highly confidential.

Summary of Duties:

General:

· Works with managers and supervisors to post, recruit and on-board new employees.
· Responsibile for posting open positions and applicant tracking by utilizing an automated Applicant Tracking System.
· Positively represents the company by attending job fairs and community outreach activities.
· Assists with employee questions and concernscourteously and promptly.
· Explains company policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants.
· Ensures that human resource files and records are maintained in accordance with legal requirements and Company policies and procedures.
· Completes miscellaneous research, reports, memos, obtains and conveys information as requested and needed.
· Keeps HR Leadership appropriately informed of area activities and of any significant problems.
· Performs miscellaneous projects as assigned.
· Files relevant paperwork into employee’s personnel file.
· Provides information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
· Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
· Uses relevant information and good judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards.
· Ensures that work area is clean, secure, and well maintained.
· Stays well informed regarding human resource developments.
· Maintains and projects the Company’s professional reputation.

Success Factors (ATS)/ ADP:

· Processes, verifies, and maintains documentation relating to personnel activities such asrecruitment, training and on-boarding.
· Enters new hire information in the human resource system database.
· Enters and maintains information in the Applicant Tracking System.
· Enters and updates benefit information in the human resource system database.
· Runs various reports or provides detailed information needed for HR reporting.
· Updates and maintains work instructions for duties related to role.
· Looks for process improvmements and ways to reduce waste (paper, time or dollars).

Onboarding/Recruiting (Primary or Back Up)

· Processes and reviews employment applications in order to evaluate qualifications or eligibility of applicants.
· Receives and tracks employment applications.
· Ensures candidate disposition and records need for Affirmative Action Reporting.
· Schedulesand/orconducts interviews (both by phone and in-person).
· Scheduling post offer, pre-employment background checks and drug screens
· Follows procedures for on-boarding new employees.

General Notes:

· Tasks may vary slightly based on products produced at division.

Qualifications:

ITAR governed position: Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident to qualify.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Minimum of 2years of recruitment experience, preferably 5 years experience in a high-volumne environment.

Computer Skills: Highlyskilledwith Windows Operating System®, MS Office®, Excel, ATS and HRIS database knowledge.

Must have exceptional attention to detail.

Must be a self-starter with the ability to manage the recruiting programs with minimal supervision.

Must be highly organized and able to juggle multiple tasks with regular interruptions.

Must posses excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must have a working knowledgeof human resource reporting and recordkeeping requirements.

Knowledge of:

· Principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and personnel information systems.
· Structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
· Principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
· Employment laws, compliance and legal requirements, adherence to internal processes and procedures.

Personal Traits:

· Being pleasant with others on the job and displaying a good-natured, cooperative attitude.
· Honesty, high ethical standards, detailed orientated completion of tasks is a must.
· Being reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations, good attendance is a must.
· Maintaining composure, maintaining a professional demeanor, and avoiding aggressive behavior, even in very difficult situations is mandatory.
· Accepting feedbackand dealing calmly and effectively with high stress situations.
· Ability to effectively prioritize work and handle routine interruptions.
· Meticulous attention to detail.
