Safran Cabin Materials (formerly Zodiac Aerospace Engineered Materials)located in Marysville, WA is recruiting for a:

CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE for our Panels department.

This position reports to the value stream manager. The customer service rep will communicate with our internal and external customers regarding orders, due dates, and scheduling of production. Will work very closely with planning. and production. The accurate maintenance of records and correspondence,as well as presenting a professional image at all times are crucial to the success of the candidate in this position. May be required to support other value streams as necessary or to cross train in other functions.

Job duties will include but are not limited to:

· Receive and process customer order requirements per established company procedures.

· Accurately process customer transactions, such as purchase orders, quotes and returns.

· Provide accurate information regarding availability, lead times, special or expedite orders, etc.

· Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed.

· Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaints.

· Identify and track trends in order patterns and customer satisfaction.

· Data entry and record keeping of various types of information.

· Clear and regular communication with customers, managers,support and shop floor personnel regarding unexpected changes in production demand.

· Will maintain accurate records of discussions or correspondence with customers.

· Will present a professional image at all times; communicating courteously and effectively with customers in all manners of communication (telephone, email, in person)

· Maintain proficiency in using personal computer, data entry terminal and other common office equipment and software.

· Follow company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

· Must have 2-4 years prior experience ina customer service role -in a manufacturingenvironment is preferred.

· Candidate should possess excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.Must be able to effectively interact with all levels of employees on a professional level.

· Must be proficient in advanced skills with Microsoft Excel. A proficiency test may be given prior to hiring.

· Must have strong analytical skills.

· Must have prior experience using an ERP system.

· Must be highly motivated, determined and adaptable to varying situations, and have the ability to balance multiple tasks and priorities and complete projects within specified time frame.

· Must work well alone or in a team environment, be action/results oriented, and demonstrate project leadership ability.

· Candidate should have an energetic and pro-active demeanor.

· Knowledge of lean manufacturing or other operational improvement practices is a plus.
