The opportunity

Become a part of Zalando’s mission to build one of the world’s top tech brands by joining our Network Infrastructure team as a Network Engineer - WiFi Specialist. The team is responsible for and operates the entire Network infrastructure within Zalando from Offices to Warehouses and Data Centers. It creates concepts, develops new and operates all existing network services.

Your responsibilities

·  Day to day operations of the Campus wide Wifi network (Aruba networks)
·  Resolving problems and creating troubleshoots for all WiFi components
·  Installing, configuring, managing and troubleshooting all of the network components
·  Configuring and managing network services such as NPS and Radius
·  Ability to work in a team and perform maintenance duties as well as delegate tasks within the group
·  Writing technical documentation, implement and create WiFi designs

What we are looking for

·  3 years of networking experience with emphasis on WiFi devices
·  Network management and monitoring
·  TCP/IP, DHCP, SSH, DNS, SNMP and NTP
·  Familiarity with BGP, OSPF and VRRP required
·  Wireless networking, engineering and design
·  Deep knowledge of Aruba network products such as Airwave, Clearpass, Clarity and Aruba OS
·  Knowledge of Juniper, Cisco and HP network devices
·  Ability to present and explain technical information to diverse types of audiences
·  Fluency in written and spoken English, German is a plus
