Willis Towers Watson is the market leader in the provision of actuarial projection and risk management solutions for the Insurance industry worldwide. Our key software clients in EMEA include some of the largest domestic and multi-national insurers.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the EMEA region software sales team. We are seeking an individual to create a high performance, market leading, sales operation in our selected markets in the defined territory.The Role

This role will be responsible for sales of our software products to a combination of new and existing users. Focusing on technology solutions, you will work with CRMs, Consultants and technical experts to identify and develop leads, as well as legal and invoicing teams to deliver the products to the clients. This role will report in to the Regional Software Sales Leader and will be based in London.

Principal Accountabilities/Responsibilities

Sales:
•Achieve or exceed the software licence sales targets of our life and non-life products into the designated EMEA region territory.
•Work closely with the senior management of the EMEA consulting teams and senior sellers to develop and execute the software sales strategy for the defined territory.
•Create and execute a growth sales strategy for the defined EMEA territory maintaining a strong pipeline at all times
•Take a leadership role in the software sales development plan for the major clients in the territory in partnership with the consultants and specifically the Client Relationship Manager (CRM) for the account
•Foster a collaborative working environment for the sales team, the other members of the pre-sales team, the software development team and Willis Towers Watson consulting teams engaged with prospective clients
•Lead the sales cycle from developing to closing opportunities

Sales Management:
•Manage internal stakeholders of the territory software sales team – country and regional line of business leaders
•Engage with software development teams (and other software sales teams) to keep updated and share best practice
•Develop strategic sales plans for large clients and each country territory – working with the country business leaders and individual client relationship managers (CRMs)
•Contribute to global sales initiatives and strategic planning

Depth of Knowledge:
•Develop an in-depth understanding of our client’s needs and challenges, including risk management requirements, the regulatory environment and the technology environment
•Be able to articulate the capabilities, features and benefits of our products effectively, both formally and informally
•Develop an understanding of where the Microsoft product range and development road map are relevant to our solutions
•Ability to articulate the Willis Towers Watson software solutions architecture and proposition from a business point of view
•Understand at a high level the related consultancy service offerings
•Capture emerging new requirements from the market and communicate these requirements to the software product management team

• Understanding of the modelling environment and risk management in financial services, ideally in the insurance industry
• Successful track record in selling complex technology solutions in a software or services environment
• Ability to prospect in the territory to find client upgrades and new name opportunities
• Ability to identify business need in our clients for Willis Towers Watson software products
• Ability to communicate to both users and technology clients at all levels within an organisation
• Ability to manage stakeholders located across the region
• Willingness to undertake significant travel in the territory
• Educated to degree level
